Markus Nilsson - bass

Markus Nilsson joined Soniq Circus (back then TP3) in the autumn of 2004 when he took over after the former bass player Ambjörn Furenhed.

Markus started his musical career with mandolin lessons from the Linköpings musikskola. Markus first rock band was Yngves Vänner where he played rhythm guitar, with among others Ambjörn. After a while some of the members went separate ways, and Ozymandias was created by remaining members. This band played what could be called progressive rock, and it was the first band for Markus to play bass in.

After the military service, Markus moved to Lund in the southern part of Sweden, and played bass in: the cover band Alfons, the glam rock band HMDP and the soft melody band Fin Ungdom, before joining Soniq Circus.
