The second studio album of Soniq Circus will be released at the time for the appearance of Soniq Circus at Slottskogen goes progressive. Meet you all there.

The album A Flower Full Of Stars - A Tribute To The Flower Kings is out now. Soniq Circus is represented by the cover song Sword of God. The album is a nice compilation of songs from the career of The Flower Kings.

Soniq Circus will play at Sweden's most well known and oldest progressive rock festival, Slottsskogen goes Progressive in Gothenburg which takes place on August 20th this year. It's free entrance with bar and menu, and the event starts at 15:00. Make sure you're there in time as Soniq Circus will be the first band to play! A change from earlier years is that it will be indoors, at Musikens Hus (Djurgårdsgatan 13, 4 km from Villa Belparc).

Soniq Circus will take part in the international music competition Emergenza. The band looks much forward to this event, which have been closed to Soniq Circus since it took part last time in 2006. Before, only unsigned bands were allowed to participate. Now it's free to compete as long as you're not signed to a major label.

In 2006 Soniq Circus made it to the Skåne final thanks to the support of our fans. Take the chance to cheer on the band and have a great evening at the same time. The first gig for Soniq Circus is at Bodoni Friday the 5h of February.

The album Rökstenen : A Tribute To Swedish Progressive Rock Of The 70's is out now. Soniq Circus is represented by the cover song Stockholm in Swedish, originally performed by Pugh Rogerfelt. The album is a nice compilation of songs from the 70th's with focus on symphonic and progressive music. The contribution of Soniq Circus is actually more from the Swedish Prog-scene. This was a popular genre in the 70th's and compared to progressive music, more simple with political influences. But of course Soniq Circus have put its own touch on Stockholm, making it more modern and progressive.

A new keyboard player has finally joined the band and Marco Ledri is his name. Actually he's been rehersing with Soniq Circus since November last year, and he has recorded the keyboards on the Stockholm cover. It's only updating the news that have been really slow. Check this site for the upcoming presentation of Marco.

Soniq Circus is currently working on recording a cover of the prog hit Stockholm by Pugh Rogerfelt. This song will be included on the tribute album Rökstenen, to be released during 2009 by Colossus and Musea Records.
